How to setup an HTTP proxy

Taipan supports both HTTP and HTTPS proxy. By default no proxy is used by Taipan, even if a system one is configured.
To send all requests through a proxy, it is necessary to modify the profile XML file used (for more information on the profile file, visit the related page).

Once that the XML file is opened, it is necessary to modify the settings of the HttpRequestor. You can find this node under:

Profile > HttpRequestorSettings > Proxy

and modify the value with the proxy. Find below an example of proxy configuration.

<Proxy>
http://127.0.0.1:8080
</Proxy>
